Beyond Words Summer Camp will prepare your child for the upcoming school year by preventing summer slide. The best part is your child will have fun in an interactive camp environment.

Beyond Words can be your child’s Education Advocate, guiding families through the educational landscape with expertise and empathy, ensuring that the needs of all students are recognized and met with appropriate accommodations and resources.
Meet the Founder
Lindsey Parte is a special educator, advocate, and mother to a bright, dyslexic thinker. With a Masters Degree in Special Education, she has focused her 18 year career on teaching struggling learners how to read. Working with students in kindergarten through high school, she is finishing up the process to be a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and officially certified in Orton Gillingham (June 2024). Lindsey reignited the Decoding Dyslexia Maryland: Eastern Shore Chapter in 2023, whose main goal is to spread awareness and advocate for best practices for our children. Her journey with her son and building a local community on the Eastern Shore was highlighted in the cover story of The Bay Times in January. Lindsey’s mission is to increase educational resources for not only her local community: the children of the Eastern Shore community but for all children no matter where they live.
